Internal Sales - February 2010

Our company is a designer and manufacturer of electronics involved with Alternative Energy such as Solar Power. A family business based in Chirnside Park, we deal predominantly business to business and have clients throughout metropolitan and rural Australia as well as internationally. We presently employ 45 staff and are in a steady growth phase.

The Internal sales position will be responsible for handling low level sales enquiries from trade to end users, as well as supporting the sales team with a variety of tasks.
Directly reporting and taking direction from the Sales/ Marketing Manager you will be part of a small friendly and well motivated team, where you will be asked for your input on strategy and decision making.

 

In this very challenging role you will be responsible for:

  • Providing support to our nationwide dealers and international distributors
  • Prepare and distribute electronic newsletters.
  • Administer the company external training program.
  • Manage our Dealer Loyalty Program.
  • Filter and distribute emails.
  • Travel bookings.
  • Assist with the infrastructure required in preparing corporate road shows and exhibitions.
  • Distribute press releases.
  • Enter and update the company customer database.
  • Prepare quotations for the sales department.
  • Integrate with the webmaster.
  • Prepare reports as required.
  • Handle basic sales enquiries.
  • Generally ensuring a well organised and efficient office

Selection Criteria

To be appointed to this position, a candidate should meet the following selection criteria to the satisfaction of the Sales/Marketing Manager:

  1. Experience within a manufacturing or distribution department.
  2. Demonstrate an excellent knowledge of Microsoft packages, including Word, Publisher, Excel and Outlook.
  3. Evidence of the capacity to work professionally with a small team of people in an environment characterised by tight deadlines and changing priorities.
  4. Demonstrated capacity to apply analytical and problem solving skills to non‐routine activities.
  5. Demonstrated ability to work with little or no supervision.
  6. Possess appropriate administrative skills and experience.
  7. Demonstrate a flexible approach to work.

Desirable

  1. Experience or association within the Renewable Energy Industry.
  2. Some basic sales experience.

This is a full time position starting immediately, hours of operation are 8.30am- 5.00pm occasional weekend work may be required but limited to 2 per year.

Electronics Technician - February 2010

Do you enjoy electronics and want to do something positive for the environment?

Chirnside Park Location.

We have a position vacant for an End of Line Test Technician and QA Inspector.
To be successful in this position you will require the following skills:

  • High attention to detail
  • Fault finding to component level
  • Able to read circuit diagrams
  • Confident use of hand tools
  • Lifting up to 30kg
  • Experience in Power Electronics is advantageous but not essential.

Hours: 7:30am to 4:00pm Monday to Friday, some overtime is required.
